Description

You will build automated tests with experienced engineers to improve reliability, performance, and data integrity, and to catch regressions early. The role focuses on understanding services through manual API/backend testing before automating them, then ensuring maintainable test coverage. You will contribute to a team that handles large traffic peaks reliably.

Requirements

• Practical experience or strong foundational knowledge in Java, Kotlin, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript

• At least one automated testing framework (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Kotest, pytest) and basics of maintainable test writing (assertions, setup/teardown, test data)

• Knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs (methods, status codes, headers, JSON) and ability to test with Postman or REST Assured

• Basic SQL/database understanding

• Fundamentals of software testing (test levels, equivalence partitioning, boundary values) and clear bug reports

• Comfortable with Git and repository workflows (branches, pull requests, code review)

• Ability to start with manual API/backend testing before automation

• Strong attention to detail and understanding of end-to-end system and data flow

• Team communication skills; willing to share knowledge and seek feedback

• English and Polish at B2 level or higher
