Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests for backend and frontend applications, supported by manual testing for critical functionalities. The role includes creating test plans and strategies, performing API/web/database/backend testing, running performance and load tests (e.g., JMeter or LoadRunner), and optimizing automation frameworks. You will also integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, define quality metrics, implement testing best practices, and mentor other QA/Test engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated tests for backend and frontend applications
• Perform manual testing for critical functionality
• Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios
• Execute API, web, database, and backend testing
• Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or LoadRunner
• Develop and optimize test automation frameworks
• Define quality metrics and improve testing processes and workflows
• Introduce testing best practices, tools, and technologies
• Mentor and support QA/Test engineers
• Collaborate with developers and other engineering teams to improve product quality
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in test automation, ideally at Senior level
• Very good knowledge of Java
• Experience with backend/API test automation
• Hands-on experience with web, API, and database testing
• Hands-on manual testing experience
• Experience in performance testing
• Ability to create and maintain test plans and test strategies
• Experience with test automation frameworks and their optimization
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Ability to drive quality improvements and testing best practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience mentoring or supporting other QA/Test Engineers
