Description

You will own network and datacenter operations—troubleshooting, safe recovery, and prevention of repeat incidents—while coordinating people, activations, and vendors to ensure high-quality delivery and handover. The role also includes more complex technical presales: understand the customer’s real need, compare options (costs/risks), and prepare an executable implementation brief. You will standardize, document, and automate, including integrating systems via APIs and using AI only when measurable and safe.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot networks, Linux servers, and datacenter services (diagnose incidents, perform safe restores, prevent recurrence)
• Lead complex technical presales (requirements discovery, option comparison, deliver executable scope for implementation)
• Coordinate internal teams, activations, and suppliers (priorities, responsibilities, quality control, completed handover)
• Collaborate with sales and finance to deliver a functional service, correct reporting, required materials, and timely invoicing inputs
• Drive standardization, documentation, and automation; integrate task/workflow system (4me/Xurrent), monitoring, and network systems via API; apply AI with measurable and safe impact

Requirements

• Verifiable hands-on experience in a production ISP/telco environment, with concrete examples of incidents or changes handled
• Practical knowledge of Cisco, Arista EOS, and MikroTik: routing and switching, BGP/OSPF, VLAN/QinQ, IPv4/IPv6, firewall/NAT, DNS/DHCP, and monitoring
• Linux, servers, virtualization, and datacenter experience; ability to distinguish network issues from storage or application issues, and understanding of backup/restore
• Ability to write and explain specific CLI commands, verify results, and recognize when expert review is needed
• Leadership drive: distribute work, provide factual feedback, decide based on impact to customer and company, and finish outcomes
• Interest in APIs, automation, and validated AI usage; able to specify, review, and safely take over integration work
