Description

Design and build automation software and DevOps-friendly tooling to manage, validate, and monitor network infrastructure. Work across engineering teams to integrate network automation into deployment pipelines and improve reliability and scalability. Support Linux and containerized systems, including telemetry and monitoring services.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain software for complex network management and monitoring tasks

• Deploy and audit network device configurations

• Automate validation and testing procedures

• Monitor network health and performance with visualization and alerting

• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate network automation into deployment pipelines

• Drive automation across software development, release, and operations

• Research network automation trends and apply them to improve team efficiency and innovation

• Support Linux-based environments and containerized applications/services (e.g., NMS, telemetry, flowspec and routing controllers, syslog, TACACS, netflow)

Requirements

• Background in networking (TCP/IP, IP routing protocols)

• Experience with Unix-based systems administration

• Experience with network vendor devices (Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Nokia) and their automation interfaces

• Experience developing systems using Python

• Deep understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF

• Hands-on experience with Docker

• Knowledge of monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana)

• Familiarity with Ansible for automation and configuration management

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools

• Experience with APIs and data formats like JSON and YAML

• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse)

• Fluent English and strong teamwork/problem-solving abilities
