Kraków, MA, Poland

Quick Facts

  • Role: IAM Transformation Lead

  • Focus: Deliver an IAM target operating model end to end and operationalize an IGA platform across multiple portfolio companies

Description

Own the IAM Target Operating Model end to end—from governance and control design through to IAM platform delivery and adoption across the portfolio. Lead the IAM project team and be accountable for IAM maturity, regulatory/internal compliance, and evidence-producing controls. Run the programme as a project owner (agenda, milestones, budget, risks, decisions) and drive adoption through influence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of IAM business analysts and IAM integration engineers; set direction, priorities, and expected standards of work

  • Allocate and rebalance the team across governance workstreams and platform integration

  • Create and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures

  • Set the IAM programme agenda and present proposals/decisions to governance forums

  • Deliver the IAM platform implementation (scope, plan, milestones, budget, dependencies) and manage implementation partners/managed services

  • Configure the platform based on IAM requirements; resolve gaps between requirements and platform capabilities

  • Own application onboarding (sequencing, connector delivery, testing, cutover)

  • Own the post-signature commercial relationship (license metrics, identity counts, true-ups, change control)

  • Coordinate IAM audits and regulatory reviews

  • Own the IAM control set and evidence model; move controls from design through Test of Effectiveness

  • Manage the IAM risk register, exception management, and IAM maturity position/trajectory

  • Define and track IAM KPIs and maturity metrics

  • Drive adoption of the group IAM operating model across portfolio companies; engage domain owners and application owners

  • Establish decision rights, accountabilities, and escalation paths; keep them current as the function grows

  • Own the business role model and authorization concepts; define segregation of duties and exception handling

  • Approve deviations/exceptions to IAM standards and provide guidance to portfolio teams

  • Report IAM posture, risk, and delivery progress to senior management and parent company

Requirements

  • 8+ years in IAM, information security, governance, or risk; at least 2 years in a lead/ownership role

  • Built an IAM or control function where none existed

  • Delivered at least one IGA platform implementation end to end, including vendor/implementation partner management

  • Led a mixed team of analysts and engineers, balancing governance and technical delivery priorities

  • Can run the programme as its own project manager (planning, milestones, budget, risks, steering) without PMO

  • Deep IAM knowledge: joiner/mover/leaver, role/entitlement design, segregation of duties, access reviews, privileged access

  • Experience with federated/multi-entity organizations where adoption is negotiated

  • Comfortable working directly with access data extracts to produce findings or role models

  • Experience with regulatory/control frameworks and audit/evidence expectations

  • Proven executive stakeholder management; able to translate IAM risk into business terms

  • English mandatory; Spanish and/or German are a plus
