Description

Build and own end-to-end product work—from creating user interface experiences to implementing scalable back-end processing logic. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, user research, and data science to deliver clean, maintainable code and a superlative user experience. Contribute to integrating Asana with valuable function-specific tools used by teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and take ownership of both front-end and back-end parts of the product

• Participate in the full product development lifecycle, from conception to post-launch reflection

• Work cross-functionally with PM, designers, user researchers, and data scientists

• Write clean, maintainable code that improves the overall product experience

• Grow through learning opportunities and stretch assignments

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack experience in large, well-maintained codebases building user-facing products (integration development preferred)

• Professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (React and Node.js) or Scala

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional and cross-timezone collaboration

• Ability to balance speed with long-term code quality and maintainability

• Strong passion for user experience and attention to detail

• Motivation to improve team productivity and collaboration

• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with willingness to learn and apply them
