• Role: Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Asset Pipeline Web Services)

Description

You will design and build reliable services, APIs, and system integrations that support game production workflows across the studio. Work across the full application stack—backend services in Python and Node.js/TypeScript, frontend applications in React/TypeScript, and cloud deployment and operations—delivering features end to end. Over time, you will also progressively take on selected coordination responsibilities to help organize day-to-day team work and keep priorities visible.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, plus Node.js and TypeScript
• Deliver features end to end from data models and service architecture through React-based user interfaces
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions to improve reliability, security, maintainability, and performance
• Design integrations between internal apps, production systems, and external services
• Participate in deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a cloud environment
• Collaborate with product, UX, infrastructure, and game development teams to translate workflows into technical solutions
• Own larger areas of work and break them into clear deliverables
• Gradually support coordination: organize day-to-day work, facilitate communication, and keep priorities/dependencies visible
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with senior-level expertise in backend development and Python
• Experience with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy (or comparable frameworks/libraries)
• Experience designing maintainable APIs, data models, integrations, and service architectures
• Hands-on backend development with Node.js and TypeScript
• Hands-on frontend development with React and TypeScript; comfortable delivering and maintaining complete user-facing features
• Working knowledge of relational databases and experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience deploying, operating, or troubleshooting apps in a public cloud
• Understanding of containerization, CI/CD, application monitoring, and production support
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, secure API design, and general web application security
• Strong fundamentals: automated testing, code reviews, debugging, maintainable design
• Ownership mindset; clear, respectful communication in a cross-functional international environment
• Interest in gradually developing toward a Coordinator role with strong organizational and communication skills
