Description

Lead the requirements-to-prototype pipeline and help shape enterprise portal experiences by translating complex requirements into high-fidelity designs. Define UI/UX standards and design-system governance, architect and build reusable React/TypeScript components, and ensure responsive interfaces that comply with WCAG 2.1 AA. Collaborate with backend/API teams, review pull requests, and mentor mid-level UI/UX developers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Define and enforce UI/UX standards, interaction patterns, and design system governance across portal applications
• Architect and develop key React/TypeScript front-end components and shared UI libraries
• Review pull requests and provide feedback on design fidelity and code quality
• Coordinate with backend/API teams to ensure UI feasibility and optimization within service/data constraints
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) and responsive design across all portal screens
• Run usability testing/validation sessions and iterate based on user feedback and analytics
• Mentor mid-level UI/UX developers and share React best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma (component libraries and design systems)
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript (component architecture, state management, hooks)
• Ability to translate designs into responsive, accessible UI
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable defending design decisions to business and engineering teams
• Experience reviewing code and providing technical feedback
• Eligibility to work in Europe (existing legal right to work in the European Union)
