Description

You’ll design, build, and scale a modern React and TypeScript web application that progressively replaces legacy Airtable and server-rendered interfaces for a laboratory management platform. The role is ~90% frontend architecture and UI development (responsive design, component-driven architecture, state management, and design system alignment) and ~10% light backend integration support with existing Node.js/TypeScript APIs. You’ll follow spec-driven engineering practices aligned with the Claude SDLC methodology to deliver secure, high-quality, end-to-end user workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• Deep expertise with modern React, TypeScript, state management libraries, and component-driven architecture

• Track record building enterprise web apps, data dashboards, complex form flows, and design systems

• Proficiency with frontend build systems (e.g., Vite), CSS-in-JS / Tailwind, and UI component libraries

• Experience writing frontend tests with React Testing Library and Vitest (or E2E with Cypress/Playwright)

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP/JSON contracts, client-side caching, and type generation (e.g., Zod, OpenAPI)

• Working knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript backends

• Practical knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and secure web application development

• Strong troubleshooting across application, identity, network, and infrastructure boundaries

• Excellent communication in English

• Ability to work independently and take ownership
