Description

You will support the stability, availability, and performance of enterprise IT services in a mainframe environment, with emphasis on batch scheduling. The work includes service monitoring, incident identification and troubleshooting in collaboration with the DevOps team, and implementing infrastructure changes without degrading service quality. You will also help improve automation, continuous integration, and maintenance/monitoring processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational stability, integrity, and availability of supported IT services
• Ensure compliance with service management standards, operational controls, and data quality requirements
• Support incident identification, troubleshooting, and resolution with the DevOps team
• Contribute to service resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives
• Implement infrastructure changes while maintaining service quality and user experience
• Support changes to meet performance, availability, security, and resilience requirements
• Automate build, testing, and deployment processes across environments to improve consistency and reliability
• Improve automation, continuous integration, system monitoring, and maintenance processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience
• Solid knowledge of JCL for IBM z/OS mainframe environments
• Good knowledge of IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS)
• Basic knowledge of Horizon IWS Graph, BatchCP, BatchAD, and XINFO
• Understanding of incident and change management processes
• Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Good written and spoken English
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
