Description

Provide solution-oriented support to ensure smooth operation of customers’ IT infrastructure. Plan, coordinate, and independently execute changes, maintenance work, and smaller projects while maintaining complex IT documentation. Analyze incidents, perform root-cause error analysis, and contribute to sustainable improvements in system stability.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customer inquiries
• Support customers with expertise to maintain reliable IT operations
• Plan, coordinate, and execute changes, maintenance, and smaller projects independently; maintain complex IT documentation
• Administer modern server, storage, virtualization, and backup solutions as well as network and security systems
• Troubleshoot incidents, conduct error analysis, participate actively in resolution, and develop sustainable solutions to improve stability
• After onboarding, take technical responsibility for defined customer environments
• Work independently and closely with experienced IT specialists and cross-functional teams (sales, architecture, consulting, project teams)
• Use modern monitoring, ticketing, and automation solutions to expand proactive operational support
• Stay current through certifications and ongoing professional training
• Support the team in problem-solving and implementation of specific customer requirements

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a degree in (technical) computer science or business informatics
• At least 5 years of experience after qualification operating complex IT infrastructures
• Extensive practical experience with virtualization, compute, storage, backup, networking, and firewalls
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Entra ID
