Description

Drive definition of next-generation AI hardware for Azure to train and run best-in-class AI models across many use cases. Translate customer needs and market opportunities into actionable product requirements, specifications, and investment decisions. Lead technical programs from concept to execution with architecture, engineering, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and partner organizations to define future generations of AI hardware for Azure

• Identify and prioritize customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive gaps; convert them into product requirements and specifications

• Drive executive decision making for new investments (competitive analysis, program goals, business requirements, architectural concepts, risk management, financial analysis, schedule, and hardware strategy)

• Lead end-to-end technical programs from concept to execution with cross-functional architecture, engineering, and business teams

• Maintain technical proficiency in AI workload requirements, AI technology landscape, and AI industry roadmaps

• Present risks and recommendations to senior leadership to support product-level decisions

• Operate effectively in ambiguity; apply and design processes where they add value

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development (or equivalent experience)

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years

Benefits

• Base pay range (U.S.): USD $119,800–$234,700/year (location-dependent ranges for specific metros)
