Description

You will create and maintain automated tests for backend applications, including PHP automation with Pest, testing for Filament/Livewire, and API contract testing based on OpenAPI. The role includes validating financial and transactional flows, verifying data in PostgreSQL, and building quality gates that run in CI/CD. You’ll also use AI tools to support test creation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated tests
• Automate PHP applications using Pest
• Test Filament/Livewire and perform API contract tests based on OpenAPI
• Test integrations with external partner systems
• Test financial and transaction processing flows
• Verify data in PostgreSQL
• Prepare test data, seeders, mocks, and fakes
• Build quality gates and run tests in CI/CD
• Maintain the QA environment and co-create the test strategy
• Use AI tools for creating and analyzing tests

Requirements

• Commercial experience in test automation (independent, end-to-end automation work)
• PHP + Pest practical experience writing automated tests
• Filament + Livewire knowledge and experience testing these technologies
• Very good REST API testing skills (positive, negative, edge cases)
• OpenAPI + contract testing experience (preparing and maintaining contract tests)
• Practical CI/CD pipeline knowledge and ability to integrate and run automated tests
• SQL + PostgreSQL proficiency for data verification
• Experience testing integrations with external systems and validating data flow
• Ability to create test data / mocks / fakes and isolate external dependencies
• Effective use of AI tools to support test creation, analysis, and development
