Description

Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities aligned with quality standards and project timelines. Design and maintain manual and automated test cases, build and improve automation frameworks with Python and Robot Framework, and create automated test scenarios using Gherkin. Execute tests, report progress and results in qTest, and support defect management and testing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities per quality standards and timelines

• Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test cases

• Develop and improve test automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework

• Create automated test scenarios using Gherkin (or similar)

• Execute test cases and report progress/results in qTest

• Prepare and maintain test documentation and support defect management

• Analyze requirements and define testing approach and test coverage

• Prepare and manage test data and test environments

• Use service virtualization to support efficient testing

• Perform integration and data validation testing across different file formats and systems

• Investigate and support resolution of production issues

• Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and other technical teams

• Apply testing best practices and continuously improve processes and tooling

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software testing experience, including test automation

• Strong practical knowledge of Python

• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework

• Experience testing integrations and working with XML, CSV, and JSON

• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (preferably MS SQL Server)

• Understanding of HTTP protocols and system integrations

• Experience with Git and basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins or Bamboo)

• Experience with test management/collaboration tools (qTest, Jira, Confluence)

• Good understanding of Agile software development practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to independently analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and identify quality risks

• Practical experience with automation frameworks, including Java-based tools (JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber)

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification
