Description

You will advise customers on designing and continuously improving backup, recovery, and cyber-resilience strategies. The role includes planning, design, and implementation of Commvault solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, along with integrations of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, VMware, Hyper-V, and storage systems. You will also conduct assessments, workshops, and technical presentations, and support presales and offer processes.

Responsibilities

• Consult customers on concept development and further development of backup, recovery, and cyber-resilience strategies

• Plan, design, and implement Commvault solutions in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments

• Run assessments, workshops, and technical customer presentations

• Migrate existing backup landscapes to Commvault Cloud and/or Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery

• Integrate Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, VMware, Hyper-V, and storage systems into backup concepts

• Build and optimize disaster-recovery and cyber-recovery concepts

• Support presales activities and offer processes

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent IT training

• Several years of experience in datacenter, backup & recovery, or infrastructure consulting

• Experience with planning, implementation, and operation of complex datacenter solutions

• Experience in customer projects and technical workshops

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Backup, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and Commvault Backup & Recovery

• Knowledge of storage technologies such as NetApp, Dell, HPE, or comparable solutions

• Sound knowledge of datacenter, virtualization, and hybrid-cloud architectures

• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)

• Knowledge of cyber-resilience, ransomware, and recovery concepts (advantageous)

• Strong consulting and communication skills

• Analytical and strategic thinking
