Description

Drive continuous development of an ERP landscape by taking responsibility for defined Business Central processes and projects. Analyze end-to-end business processes, identify optimization and automation opportunities, and create target-state processes using Business Central best practices and standard functionality. Lead IT/digitalization projects, coordinate changes and releases, and support business users through incident handling and knowledge management.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver Business Central business processes and projects.

• Analyze end-to-end value chain processes; define optimized target processes and automation opportunities.

• Advise business departments on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central; gather, assess, and translate requirements into concepts for adjustments, extensions, and optimizations.

• Coordinate change requests; support testing, releases, updates, and rollouts; ensure documentation.

• Lead IT and digitalization projects: plan budgets and resources, analyze risks, manage internal project teams and external service providers; keep quality, timeline, and costs in view; align regularly with IT and management.

• Handle requests and incidents from first-level support; analyze incidents/problems in business processes and system behavior; ensure timely issue resolution.

• Build and maintain a knowledge base to continuously improve support and service processes.

• Collaborate with business departments, key users, external partners, and IT infrastructure/development teams; report to Head of IT/Application.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification.

• Several years of experience as Consultant, Business Analyst, Application Manager, or IT Project Lead in an ERP environment.

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV and ERP-related domains (Procurement, Sales, Production, Warehousing, Logistics, Finance). Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or Power BI is advantageous.

• Experience in project management, leading cross-department projects, and coordinating external implementation partners and service providers.

• Experience in process modeling (e.g., BPMN) and process optimization; analytical and conceptual skills.

• Strong consulting ability and communication skills; confident English in speaking and writing.

• Enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration; confident appearance with business areas, management, and external providers.
