Description

Deliver and scale a portfolio of AWS services across US Amazon Dedicated Cloud regions for defense and national security customers. Own product programs end-to-end, translating customer needs into roadmaps, strategies, and measurable mechanisms for success. Operate in an agile environment with strong technical program management and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data, execute a customer-centric strategy, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across Engineering, Sales, Finance, and senior leadership.

• Define roadmaps, mitigate risks, prioritize against constraints, and design how programs achieve success.

• Develop deep customer understanding through customer deep dives and Amazon’s “working backwards” approach.

• Drive mission outcomes by launching new capabilities and removing obstacles.

• Collaborate with engineering teams through roadmap sessions and strategy planning.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

• Opt into commensurate clearance for each government agency for which AWS work is performed

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics

• 5+ years technical product management with internet business experience

• 5+ years experience as a Technical Product Manager

• 3+ years technical experience (software development, network development, IT, or related)

• 7+ years full product life cycle experience

• 5+ years P&L management and pricing experience

• 5+ years creating written documentation for development of new products

• 5+ years enterprise security product experience

• 5+ years product management in cloud computing technology space

• Experience taking a product from conception/definition through engineering design to market

• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products end-to-end through GTM
