Description

You will support the IT Security team responsible for application security, providing consulting guidance and engineering solutions that help teams build and operate secure systems. The role includes reviewing architectures and projects, defining security requirements, assessing application risks, and designing security mechanisms across the application lifecycle. Work is performed with development, architecture, operations/admin, and other security teams, aiming for practical security controls in a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Review projects, architectural changes, and application solutions for security
• Define security requirements, recommendations, and guidance for IT projects and systems
• Identify and assess application security risks for libraries, components, and runtime environments
• Design, implement, and evolve security mechanisms supporting the application lifecycle
• Develop and leverage SAST, SCA, DAST, CNAPP, and secrets vault solutions
• Evaluate new technologies and tools in application security, AI, and DevSecOps
• Integrate security mechanisms into software development and deployment processes
• Provide subject-matter support to IT teams on application security

Requirements

• Experience in application security, product security, security engineering, or DevSecOps
• Ability to independently review technical solutions and produce actionable security recommendations
• Ability to analyze application architecture and identify risks related to operation, integrations, and configuration
• Experience with SAST, SCA, DAST, CNAPP, or container security
• Knowledge of common application vulnerabilities and how they occur; familiarity with OWASP (including Top 10, API Security, and AI)
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and how to integrate security mechanisms with them
