Description

AWS Security Hub correlates and enriches security signals into actionable insights so customers can respond at scale. You will lead a frontend team to build a new agentic web application, an MCP app integrating Security Hub into customers’ AI workflows, and cohesive console experiences across multiple AWS security services. Development is AI-assisted by default, and you will partner closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver fast, high-quality experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own frontend delivery, quality, and roadmap for the agentic web app, the MCP app, and console experiences for Security Hub and related services

  • Hire, onboard, and grow frontend engineers across experience levels as the team scales

  • Develop engineers deliberately through project assignment, including emerging AI areas

  • Partner with principal and senior frontend engineers on architecture, frameworks, and AI integration strategy

  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to align API contracts and sequencing before build

  • Champion AI-native development practices using LLMs and AI tooling to ship faster without impacting quality

  • Ensure operational excellence for production AWS console surfaces: availability, performance, accessibility, on-call health, and launch readiness

  • Represent team plans and results to senior leadership while protecting focus and work-life balance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience

  • 5+ years of engineering experience

  • Experience building web applications with React and modern web technologies

  • 3+ years designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)

  • 5+ years as a Software Engineer/Software Developer or related occupational experience

  • Knowledge of end-to-end SDLC practices (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, live-site operations)

  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams
