Description

You will join a strategic project building an ecosystem for damage and benefits management, leveraging data, automation, AI, and workflow processes. The role combines microservice development with API design, system integrations, and continuous improvement of business processes through scalable solutions. You will also actively use AI/agentic AI tools throughout development—requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve microservices supporting damage and claims reporting and handling workflows

• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and system-to-system integrations

• Contribute to system architecture decisions and implement functional and non-functional requirements

• Improve business processes by delivering efficient, scalable IT solutions

• Ensure high software quality by developing automated tests, applying engineering best practices, and maintaining code quality

• Use AI and agentic AI approaches during analysis, implementation, testing, and ongoing solution maintenance

Requirements

• Strong Java knowledge (5+ years)

• Strong Kafka knowledge (3+ years)

• Strong Spring/Hibernate knowledge; Spring Boot and Spring Cloud (5+ years)

• Strong SQL knowledge (5+ years)

• Quality assurance knowledge including unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Spock)

• Integration testing experience with Testcontainers and WireMock

• Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
