Description

You will build and evolve microservices-based systems for a modern claims and benefits handling ecosystem powered by data, automation, and AI/workflow processes. The goal is to deliver a solution that sets new standards for customer service in the Polish insurance market, supporting systems at scale with high transaction volumes. You’ll use AI/agentic AI throughout development: requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop systems in a microservices architecture for damage and benefits claim processes
  • Design, implement, and maintain APIs and integrations between systems
  • Participate in solution design and implement functional and non-functional requirements
  • Improve business processes by delivering efficient and scalable IT solutions
  • Maintain high software quality via automated tests, engineering best practices, and code quality focus
  • Actively use AI tools and an agentic AI approach in software production
  • Perform and participate in code reviews using modern tools supporting code quality and security
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and work with a multidisciplinary Agile team
  • Co-create software delivery standards and use AI in the software development process
  • Daily collaboration with a knowledge-sharing team delivering solutions for large-scale, high transaction-volume systems

Requirements

  • Good Java knowledge (~5 years)
  • Good Kafka knowledge (~3 years)
  • Good Spring/Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud knowledge
  • SQL knowledge
  • Quality assurance knowledge, including unit testing frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, Spock
  • Integration testing: Testcontainers, WireMock
  • Knowledge of Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Programming paradigms
  • Knowledge of application containerization
  • Knowledge of process engines and BPMN notation
  • Knowledge of resilience patterns/mechanisms for distributed systems
  • Ability to adopt AI tools in software development
  • Knowledge of performance diagnostics tools for implemented solutions
