Description

You will lead the design and development of Java solutions based on microservices architecture, including creating and evolving APIs and integrations with the EIS platform and insurance company systems. Work will follow architectural patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles. You will ensure delivery quality across performance, security, and scalability while mentoring the team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java microservices solutions

• Build and evolve APIs and integration components communicating with the EIS platform and internal insurance systems

• Co-create system architecture and drive technical decisions aligned with program assumptions

• Ensure quality, performance, security, and scalability of delivered solutions

• Apply architectural patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, and DDD

• Participate in analyzing, designing, and estimating business and technical requirements

• Support Product Owners, analysts, and architects with feasibility assessment and technical risk identification

• Run code reviews, mentor developers, and support technical skill growth

• Help resolve technical issues and maintain high software engineering standards

• Collaborate with project, architecture, integration teams, and external vendors

• Contribute to defining and implementing CI/CD processes, observability, and DevOps practices

• Support development, integration, and test environments, including solutions using Docker and Kubernetes

• Identify, analyze, and escalate technical risks affecting program delivery

• Support the adoption of modern AI and agentic AI tools for software development and automation

Requirements

• 5+ years of Java experience designing and building web systems

• Experience building microservices architectures and distributed systems

• Strong knowledge of architectural/integration patterns, API design, system integration, and DDD

• Practical knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and query optimization

• Practical knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture, observability, and application security

• Experience with code review, mentoring, and leading a technical team

• Experience in cross-team collaboration, technical decision-making, and risk assessment

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

• English proficiency at least B2
