Description

Join a team building and evolving a fraud detection platform and supporting tools for claims reporting and handling. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable microservices APIs and integrations while ensuring high software quality through automated tests, engineering best practices, and code reviews. The delivery process actively uses AI/agentic AI across analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop microservices supporting claims reporting and handling processes
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and integrations between systems
• Participate in system design and in implementing functional and non-functional requirements
• Improve business processes by delivering efficient and scalable IT solutions
• Maintain high software quality by developing automated tests, applying engineering best practices, and caring about code quality
• Use AI tools and agentic AI approaches during requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance
• Perform and participate in code reviews using modern tools supporting code quality and security
• Contribute in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with a multidisciplinary Agile team
• Co-create software delivery standards and standards for using AI in development

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Java
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Apache Kafka
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Spring/Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL
• Knowledge of QA concepts and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Spock) plus integration testing (Testcontainers, WireMock)
• Knowledge of Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Programming paradigms
• Knowledge of application containerization
• Knowledge of process engine concepts and BPMN notation
• Knowledge of resilience patterns/mechanisms for distributed systems
• Knowledge of Angular and experience building frontend applications
• Ability to use AI tools and an agentic AI approach in software development
