Description

You will design and implement Java/JavaFX applications to process data and metadata from defense and security systems. You will work with users and product stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions, then improve existing features based on feedback. You will participate in testing and deployments in real customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement desktop and server applications in Java/JavaFX for defense and security data and metadata processing.
• Analyze requirements with field users, operators, analysts, and product managers and translate them into technical solutions.
• Modify and develop existing functionality based on user feedback.
• Participate in system testing and deployment with customers in real operating conditions.
• Collaborate with project managers and the team across development and R&D projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience developing in Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+ (experience with newer versions, ideally Java 17/21, is a plus).
• Knowledge of design and usage of REST web services.
• Experience with Git and Maven.
• Ability to read and write technical documentation in English.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, independent approach with teamwork skills.
