Marketing Lead - 0,75 FTE

What you'll own

Your job is to make Tesena more visible, relevant and easier to choose.

You'll work across five areas:

• Hiring: Help us attract great testers, business analysts and other people we want to work with.

• Brand: Make Tesena better known and strengthen our position in the Quality Engineering and IT world.

• Core business: Help our sales and delivery teams reach the right companies, generate opportunities and sell our consulting and delivery services.

• Internal communication & engagement: Help our people understand where Tesena is going, what's happening across the company and why it matters.

·       Training & Events: You’ll work closely with our Training & Events Lead, who owns the business and day-to-day execution. Oversee marketing activities for our trainings, webinars, meetups and Tesena Fest, ensuring they are aligned with Tesena’s brand identity, marketing strategy and communication standards.

Some of this already works well. Some of it doesn't. And some things we probably haven't tried yet.

Part of your job will be figuring out which is which.

What you'll start with

You won't be building a brand from zero.

You'll have:

• An established company and brand

• Existing clients and a network across the Czech IT market

• Tesena Fest, our flagship conference

• Trainings, webinars, meetups and client events

• Existing social media channels and content

• A graphic designer

• A PPC specialist

• A marketing budget

• Direct access to the CEO, sales, delivery teams, trainers and our technical experts

There's plenty to work with.

We need someone who can turn it into more impact.

What success looks like

After a year, we want more of the right people to know Tesena - and more of them to do something about it.

That means:

• Sales is getting better opportunities from marketing

• We're attracting strong candidates

• Tesena is more visible and relevant in the Quality Engineering community

• Training & Events has stronger marketing behind it

• Our own people have a better understanding of what's happening across Tesena and where we're going

• We understand much better which marketing activities actually work - and which don't

We don't expect every experiment to succeed.

We do expect to learn from them.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone experienced enough to know what good marketing looks like, but hands-on enough to still enjoy creating it.

What matters to us:

• You think commercially. You care about leads, candidates, customers and measurable outcomes - not just reach and engagement.

• You're hands-on. You like creating, writing, launching and testing things yourself.

• You're curious. You're constantly learning and looking for better ways to do things.

• You experiment. With messages, channels, formats, tools and AI - but you care about results more than novelty.

• You can think strategically and then actually execute.

• You can work independently. You'll have support, but you won't have someone telling you what to do every morning.

• You're fluent in Czech and English.

Experience in IT, software testing or Quality Engineering is useful, but not required.

How we work

This is a 0.75 FTE role.

We care much more about what gets done than where you sit or exactly when you do it.

You'll have considerable freedom to decide where to focus, what to try and how to organize your work.

And because you'll report directly to the CEO, if you think we're doing something wrong, we expect you to say so.
