Description

Develop and maintain test automation architectures to ensure the quality of business-critical software. Implement and integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines, generate test data, and run automated test cases while documenting deviations and coordinating fixes with the development team. Lead small teams of technical testers, add load-testing scenarios, and support stakeholders on software quality and test measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation architectures and ensure software quality
• Implement automation solutions; integrate into CI/CD; generate test data; execute automated test cases
• Document deviations and align remediation with the development team
• Lead small teams of technical testers; implement load test scenarios and ensure efficient execution
• Support users from business departments and development teams with questions on software quality and test actions
• Contribute to planning and control of test tasks via estimates and status reports
• Onboard new testers and continuously improve the test process through knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Degree in Informatics or Business Informatics (or equivalent training/education)
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in agile DevOps projects
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages (Java, TypeScript, C#, or Python)
• Knowledge of test automation solutions using Playwright or Selenium, including integration into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab)
• Experience with synthetic test data generation and containerized test environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with automated testing for synchronous (client-server) and asynchronous (microservices) interfaces such as REST, SOAP, AMQP, or MQTT
• Ability to use AI tools confidently in the domain, critically assess results, and help customers leverage AI potential
• Very good German and English language skills
