Description

You will develop and expand a WES system built on a microservices architecture. The work includes designing and implementing new Java/Spring functionality, creating and evolving system components, preparing proofs of concept for new technologies, and supporting client systems in production. You will collaborate with QA and Infrastructure during deployments in an Agile Scrum/Kanban setup.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend a microservices-based WES system

• Design and implement new features in Java and Spring

• Support and enhance highly transactional applications for warehouse processes

• Analyze existing components and design new ones

• Prepare proof of concept for new technical solutions

• Participate in design, implementation, and testing of new functionality

• Collaborate with QA and Infrastructure teams during deployments

• Maintain high-quality code and technical documentation

• Diagnose issues and provide support for running client systems

• Work with an international team of Developers, QA, and Architects

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in designing and developing software

• Very good Java knowledge

• Practical experience with Spring / Spring Boot

• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL

• Experience with JMS / ActiveMQ

• Experience with microservices-based system development

• Knowledge of REST Web Services

• Experience with Linux

• Experience with GitHub and Jenkins

• Experience with large, high-transaction systems

• Knowledge of SDLC processes

• Higher education in Computer Science or related field

• Independence, proactivity, and strong problem-solving skills

• Very good English (minimum C1) for daily collaboration
