Description

You will analyze business needs and identify IT system requirements for the energy sector, translating them into functional and non-functional specifications. You will gather, analyze, and document requirements, run workshops with business stakeholders, and model business and analytical documentation (BPMN, UML, user stories). You will support acceptance testing and evaluate how business and regulatory changes affect IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs and define requirements for IT systems in the energy sector

  • Collect, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements

  • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams

  • Model business processes and create analytical documentation (BPMN, UML, User Stories)

  • Work with developers, testers, and architects on design and implementation

  • Support acceptance testing and verify solutions against business requirements

  • Assess the impact of business and regulatory changes on IT systems

  • Participate in development and integration projects for energy-industry systems

Requirements

  • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies

  • Experience mapping and modeling business processes (BPMN, BPML, UML)

  • Knowledge of the energy market and energy-sector processes, especially customer handling

  • Ability to identify business needs and propose technology solutions

  • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work with stakeholders of varying technical depth

  • Ability to self-organize work

  • Ability to design and model system architecture (information flows between systems), integration, and data models in Enterprise Architecture

  • Knowledge of domain systems for the energy sector

  • Knowledge of energy processes and the implemented energy standard CSIR
