Description

You will build end-to-end AI-related journeys for your domain, integrating FastAPI async services (including BFF-layer orchestration) with React (TypeScript) web and React Native mobile interfaces. You will own the API contract and workflow orchestration between AI agent/model services and the frontend, ensuring AI output is surfaced cleanly and safely, including structured responses, streaming, and graceful fallback/human-in-the-loop paths. The team uses a shared central platform for CI/CD, deployment tooling, shared frameworks, design system, and observability.

Role Responsibilities

• Build AI-related journeys end to end for your domain using FastAPI async services and React/React Native UIs
• Integrate platform AI/agent services into domain workflows (multi-step/multi-turn calls, structured outputs, confidence thresholds, fallback paths)
• Surface AI output cleanly and safely in the UI (summaries, conversational companions, voice flows, streaming, low-confidence handling)
• Own and version the API contract between the AI integration layer, backend, and frontend (consumer-driven, stable releases)
• Contribute to architecture decisions (orchestration patterns, conversational state management, data fetching, integration boundaries)
• Partner with AI specialists on service contracts (latency, output structure, failure modes)
• Adopt and extend shared Python frameworks, Pydantic models, async patterns, and the shared design system
• Improve performance and accessibility (backend streaming/latency handling; frontend code splitting, render performance, WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Instrument AI journeys for observability (structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, error tracking)
• Work within CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes/GitOps deployment practices (Helm, ArgoCD, probes, shutdown, resources, HPA)
• Mentor mid-level engineers and participate in incident response and follow-up improvements
