Description

You will develop SDDC environments based on open-source technologies such as Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes, OKD, and Rancher. You will analyze customer requirements, select architecture for compute, network, storage, and automation, and build/configure Kubernetes clusters (upstream, OKD, Rancher, RKE2) with infrastructure integrations. You will also support customers in maintaining, optimizing, and evolving existing open-source environments, and participate in pre-sales technical consulting, solution concepts, and technology presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and develop SDDC environments using open-source technologies

  • Analyze client requirements and design compute/network/storage/automation architectures

  • Build and configure Kubernetes clusters (upstream, OKD, Rancher, RKE2) and integrate with infrastructure services

  • Support customers in maintaining, optimizing, and expanding existing open-source environments

  • Participate in pre-sales: technical consultations, solution concepts, and technology presentations

  • Continuously improve skills in Linux, orchestration, automation, and distributed systems

Requirements

  • Very strong, hands-on Linux knowledge including administration, configuration, security, and advanced diagnostics

  • At least 3 years of project experience in designing or implementing infrastructure solutions, with concrete examples and your role/responsibilities

  • Client-facing experience: collecting/analyzing requirements, leading technical arrangements, and presenting proposed solutions

  • Good knowledge of data center infrastructure, especially virtualization, networking, storage, backup, and high availability

  • Ability to design, implement, and maintain Linux-based solutions

  • Ability to diagnose complex system and infrastructure problems

  • Motivation to develop in open-source technologies and readiness to learn new solutions

  • Independence, accountability, and creativity in solving problems

  • Ability to create technical documentation including analyses, architecture, and implemented solutions
