Description

As a Requirements Engineer, you qualify and accompany customer requirements from elicitation through handover. You use your analytical skills to connect customers, business departments, software architects, and developers, while helping to ensure technical solutions meet business needs. You also coach requirement teams, prepare and moderate workshops, and critically evaluate results when using AI tools in your domain.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project leadership to manage requirements effectively and help achieve project goals
• Serve as an interface between business departments and IT to ensure solutions align with business requirements
• Develop and shape business architectures that serve as a foundation for technical implementation
• Coach customer requirement teams; prepare, moderate, and evaluate workshops
• Support the project team with business acceptance to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements

Requirements

• Completed education or training in a MINT field
• At least 3 years of practical experience in IT consulting or related fields
• Relevant project experience in Public, Retail, Automotive, or Utilities
• Experience in requirements management and requirements definition in complex software projects
• Knowledge of process modeling (EPK, BPMN)
• Experience with natural language requirements definition (Use Cases, User Stories)
• Experience with model-based requirements definition (UML)
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills and quick grasping ability
• Willingness to actively shape processes with cross-functional teams
• Ability to use AI tools confidently and critically assess results to realize AI potential
• Very good German and good English communication skills
