Description

You will develop and modify Java applications and components, work with the Calypso system, and build integrations between Calypso and other internal and external systems. The position includes database and data work, plus analysis and resolution of technical problems in collaboration with developers, analysts, and business colleagues. As you progress, you will gradually take responsibility for parts of the solution and learn the capital markets and trading domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify Java applications and components

• Work with Calypso and build domain know-how over time

• Develop integrations between Calypso and other systems

• Work with databases and data

• Analyze and solve technical issues

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders

• Gradually expand knowledge of capital markets, trading, and investment banking

• Take on increasing responsibility for solution components

Requirements

• Fundamentals of Java / Java SE

• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles

• SQL experience

• Familiarity with Git and a typical development workflow

• English communication skills

• Ability to troubleshoot and find root causes

• Willingness to learn and grow professionally

• Suitable for technical graduates or developers with initial commercial experience
