Description

You will support the modernization and further development of public-sector IT business processes, ensuring quality and reliable operations. The role combines Java development (including architecture, testing, and troubleshooting) with database and system operations support.

Responsibilities

• Further development, modernization, and maintenance of IT business processes

• Software development, testing, and quality assurance

• Error analysis and troubleshooting in IT applications

• Development of interfaces and additional modules

• Support for programming, database work, and system operations

• Documentation, knowledge transfer, and participation in agile teams

• Apply software architecture standards and best practices

Requirements

• 2 reference projects from the last 5 years for all listed requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Java software development experience (architecture, troubleshooting, and quality assurance)

• Knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and Vaadin

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS

• Experience with Git, JIRA, Maven, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins

• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases; secure use of SQL

• Experience with container environments and running Java applications on Linux/Windows

• Fluent German (minimum C1) in speaking and writing
