Description

Join a cross-functional Agile team to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data solutions across AWS cloud and on-premises Oracle environments. Contribute to data platform modernization using Data Mesh, Data Products, and Medallion architecture, while building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and ensuring data quality, security, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data solutions across AWS and legacy DWH environments

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow, dbt, and SAP Data Services

• Support Data Mesh, Data Products, and Medallion architecture initiatives

• Modernize and migrate legacy data platforms toward cloud-native solutions

• Work with Oracle DB, SAP IQ, SAP Data Services, and SAP Business Objects

• Develop and optimize solutions using SQL and Python

• Contribute to real-time, message-based, and event-driven integrations

• Ensure data solutions meet quality, security, scalability, and performance requirements

• Participate in code reviews, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting of data pipelines

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment

• Follow DevOps and SDLC practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing

• Provide incident support during EOD ROTA (typically until 23:00–24:00)

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python

• Commercial experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Hands-on experience with Airflow and/or dbt

• Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, especially Oracle DB and SAP ecosystem tools (SAP IQ, SAP Data Services, SAP Business Objects)

• Experience with data integration and event-driven architectures

• Understanding of ETL/ELT and modern data architecture

• Exposure to Data Products, Data Mesh, and Medallion architecture

• Exposure to DevOps practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, security, and automated testing

• Experience working in Agile/cross-functional teams

• Strong communication and collaboration skills; good command of English
