Description

You will support the design, development, and enhancement of an enterprise data platform as a hands-on Senior Data Engineer. The role includes building Python-based ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows; designing scalable data pipelines and models; and implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to support analytics and downstream applications. You will collaborate with application developers, business users, and data consumers to understand and deliver on data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and validation
• Design and develop data pipelines
• Develop scalable and performant data models
• Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data models
• Collaborate with application developers, business users, and data consumers on data requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
• Strong Python programming skills for ETL/ELT pipeline development
• Solid SQL skills (query optimization and data modeling)
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
• Experience integrating data from OLTP databases including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) or similar layered data lake/lakehouse models
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
