Description

Support the design, development, and enhancement of an enterprise data platform. You will build and maintain Python ETL/ELT workflows, design data pipelines and scalable data models, and integrate operational data into a cloud data warehouse/lakehouse. You will also implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) to support analytics and downstream applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and validation
• Design and develop data pipelines
• Develop scalable and performant data models
• Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) data models
• Collaborate with application developers, business users, and data consumers to understand data requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
• Strong Python programming skills with experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Solid SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
• Experience integrating data from OLTP databases, including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) or similar layered data lake/lakehouse models
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
