Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and AWS cloud infrastructure supporting IoT solutions. Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and/or Python, manage infrastructure with Terraform, and ensure reliability and performance. Work end-to-end with global teams—from implementation and deployment to monitoring and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications in AWS
• Create and evolve backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and/or Python
• Use Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Ensure reliability, performance, and optimization of backend services and cloud infrastructure
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in the backend
• Develop platform features supporting connected consumer IoT devices
• Collaborate with architects, Product Owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Maintain high software quality via code review, automated tests, monitoring, and engineering best practices
• Co-create and improve CI/CD and deployment processes

Requirements

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS/EKS)
• Very good knowledge of Node.js and/or Python for backend development
• Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Very good knowledge of REST API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
• Ability to analyze and solve problems with reliability and scalability in mind
• Experience working in an Agile environment
