Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Python backend services for an AI-driven application. Responsibilities include implementing business logic and REST APIs, building integrations with AI/LLM models and processing data for AI workflows, and supporting reliable, scalable, secure operation of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services in Python

• Create and evolve REST APIs for frontend needs and integrations with other systems

• Implement business logic with emphasis on reliability, performance, and maintainability

• Develop integrations with AI services and LLMs and support data-processing workflows

• Work with frontend to define backend communication and data exchange via APIs

• Coordinate with Cloud Engineer on AWS environments, deployments, and CI/CD automation

• Participate in backend architecture decisions

• Ensure security, scalability, and monitoring

• Test, diagnose issues, and optimize solutions

Requirements

• 3–5 years of commercial backend development experience in Python

• Practical knowledge of a modern Python web framework (preferred FastAPI)

• Solid experience designing, creating, and maintaining REST APIs

• Practical experience with AWS and cloud-based applications

• Practical experience integrating Generative AI into business applications, including using LLM model APIs and AI services

• Strong understanding of backend architecture, system integration, and communication interface design

• Knowledge of Git and experience with agile methodologies

• English proficiency for effective team communication

• Ability to collaborate across frontend, cloud, data, AI, and product development
