Description

You will help design and implement IoT backend solutions, working on the communication, integration, and cloud components that connect devices to business applications. The role includes discussing requirements with customers and contributing to implementation—either in a proof of concept or in larger agile projects with multiple teams. You are accountable for delivering the solution and collaborating closely to support customer success.

Responsibilities

• Discuss requirements with customers and derive technical solutions

• Participate in the implementation of IoT backend solutions

• Work effectively in agile environments (single-team proof of concept or multi-team projects)

• Share learnings and grow through an individual development plan

• Maintain strong collaboration and customer relationships

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or Engineering with a focus on software development

• Knowledge of software development in Java and JavaScript/Node.js

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud computing on Azure and/or AWS

• Basic experience with web technologies such as JavaEE, Spring, and WebSocket

• Understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging (MQTT, AMQP, Apache Kafka)

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment

• Familiarity with project management and communication practices (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, Git, Slack)

• Fluent English and German communication skills (written and spoken)

• Willingness for occasional travel
