Description

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve AWS landing zones and multi-account cloud environments. Automate AWS account onboarding and provisioning, implement shared networking, and enforce cloud governance and security guardrails (IAM, encryption, and security controls). Monitor platform health and lead incident investigations for critical infrastructure, while maintaining clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve AWS landing zones and multi-account cloud environments
• Automate AWS account onboarding and provisioning with standardized configurations, policies, and security requirements
• Design and maintain shared AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, connectivity, and network security)
• Implement cloud governance, guardrails, IAM, encryption, and security controls across AWS environments
• Build reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code automation for standardized provisioning
• Monitor health, security, and operational status of shared cloud platforms; improve reliability and maintainability
• Investigate and resolve complex cloud infrastructure incidents; participate in shared on-call for critical incidents
• Create and maintain technical documentation for landing zones, platform components, governance processes, configurations, and operations

Requirements

• Hands-on AWS experience operating production cloud environments, with focus on AWS platform engineering and landing zones
• Proven AWS multi-account experience including provisioning/onboarding, AWS Organizations, governance, policies, and standardized account configurations
• Strong practical Terraform and Infrastructure as Code skills, including reusable modules and automation
• Solid AWS networking and security knowledge: VPCs, subnets, routing, connectivity, IAM, encryption, security controls, vulnerability remediation, and cloud governance
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support; troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues; shared on-call support
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Bash, Python, or similar for automation of platform operations and infrastructure management
• English communication and documentation skills to collaborate with engineering, security, operations, and development teams
