Description

You will manage the build-out, operation, and monitoring of the organization’s IT network infrastructure, while continuously advancing network security. You will ensure smooth WAN operations, implement and operate security solutions for external communication, and proactively protect networks against attacks. You’ll also contribute to strategic planning and optimization of systems and support IT projects, including telephony administration and integration of new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and monitor IT network infrastructure
• Drive and continuously improve IT/network security
• Manage WAN and ensure reliable day-to-day operation
• Implement and run security solutions for external communication
• Proactively harden networks against attacks
• Support strategic planning and optimization of systems; participate in IT projects
• Administer telephone systems, including all peripherals
• Identify, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to evolve infrastructure

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable education/qualification
• Experience operating and administering network infrastructure, ideally including telephony
• Willingness for occasional business trips between sites
• Structured, reliable, and independent working approach
• Strong teamwork skills and high accountability
• Very good German proficiency (spoken and written), at least level B2
