Description

You will develop and test key features for a long-term, widely used desktop application supporting social assistance case management in Poland. You will analyze requirements to plan the scope, design test cases and scenarios, execute functional/regression/integration tests, prepare test data, and report and document defects. You will collaborate with developers and the team to ensure quality throughout the delivery process, with occasional participation in acceptance testing or client/internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Test new functionality and changes
• Analyze requirements and plan test scope
• Prepare test cases and test scenarios
• Execute functional, regression, and integration tests
• Prepare test data
• Identify, describe, and report bugs and verify fixes
• Document test results
• Collaborate with developers and the team on problem analysis and solution development
• Maintain product quality throughout the change lifecycle
• Sporadically participate in acceptance tests or customer meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of manual software testing experience
• At least 1 year of experience testing desktop applications
• Experience testing in Windows and Linux environments
• Ability to independently design test cases and scenarios from requirements
• Experience with functional and regression testing
• Ability to write defects clearly so developers can reproduce issues
• Ability to analyze dependencies between functionalities and predict regression areas
• Ability to assess how changes may impact other system areas
• Strong problem analysis and root-cause search
• Ability to work independently and collaborate smoothly with the team
• Confidence presenting the application to internal and external clients
• Clear communication of risks, issues, and test results
