Description

Join the IT Service Configuration Management team to manage centralized ICT Asset and Configuration operations in the BMC Helix ITSM environment. You will review, analyze, coordinate, and maintain efficient operations between BMC Discovery and Helix CMDB, including monitoring, troubleshooting, housekeeping, and reconciliation. You will also develop technical solutions such as automation workflows and service/application modelling (CAM/SAM/Blueprint) and collaborate with data owners, architects, and BMC vendor stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, coordinate, and maintain operations between BMC Discovery and Helix CMDB

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform housekeeping for BMC Discovery

• Develop and maintain TPLs, and support synchronization and reconciliation

• Build and maintain service modelling (CAM, SAM, or Blueprint)

• Identify improvement opportunities and develop technical solutions

• Cooperate with data owners, architects, subject matter experts, and BMC vendor stakeholders

Requirements

• Professional and hands-on experience with BMC Discovery or ServiceNow Discovery

• Experience with upgrades to BMC/ServiceNow Discovery

• Experience building automations and workflows

• Experience scripting/pattern writing (BMC/ServiceNow Discovery and SQL)

• Experience in Service Modelling (CAM, SAM, Blueprint)

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture and configurations

• Experience working with ITSM tools (Remedy, ServiceNow, Helix)

• Strong communication skills

• Fluency in written and spoken English
