Description

You will lead the management and optimization of cryptography controls, ensuring alignment with risk and compliance frameworks and monitoring effectiveness over time. You will review and oversee control implementations, document controls, engage stakeholders (including senior management, audit, and regulators), and develop KPI-based performance reporting. You will also ensure cryptography controls comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, and deliver training to raise awareness of cryptography control strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cryptography controls aligned with risk and compliance frameworks
• Review and oversee control implementations; document controls and continuously monitor effectiveness
• Collaborate with control owners and stakeholders across organizational levels (senior management, audit, regulators)
• Build performance reporting including KPIs and effectiveness metrics to improve control efficacy
• Ensure cryptography controls are compliant with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices
• Foster cross-functional collaboration among control owners and cybersecurity teams
• Design and deliver training programs on cryptography control strategies

Requirements

• At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience with strong focus on cryptography or related fields
• Proven knowledge of risk management, cybersecurity controls frameworks, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams (cybersecurity, audit, business units)
• Stakeholder management experience building relationships across diverse teams
• Problem-solving skills to identify governance process challenges and implement solutions
• Fluent English (excellent command)
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union
