Description

Work on a Financial Crime Prevention initiative to enhance transaction monitoring capabilities through new data integrations, scenario development, testing, and production rollout of a contextual monitoring solution. As a Lead Developer for Financial Crime Prevention Models, you will shape model governance, develop and validate transaction monitoring models, and ensure analytical rigor and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own development, validation, and review of transaction monitoring models

• Drive model governance (validation assessments and implementation of risk/compliance feedback)

• Define development strategies and experimental designs

• Create and maintain technical model documentation (assumptions, limitations, methodology, results)

• Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure transparency, accuracy, and robustness

• Support testing activities, prototypes, and analytical methodologies

• Mentor team members and contribute to best practices and operating procedures

• Improve standards for data lineage, governance, tuning, calibration, and operational monitoring

• Work with business, compliance, and technology stakeholders across multiple countries

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Model Risk Management, Model Governance, and Model Validation

• Strong background in Data Science, Statistics, and quantitative analysis

• Experience creating technical and model documentation (or academic publications)

• Ability to design and assess analytical experiments and model performance

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic environment

• Proactive, organized, and structured approach to work
