Description

Design and implement advanced AML detection logic and scoring models for a contextual monitoring solution. You will calibrate scoring models and detection thresholds, ensure score explainability and AML model governance compliance, and support regulatory-driven initiatives with data integrations and scenario development across multiple countries. You will also provide technical leadership and mentor junior data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the receivables stream within a contextual monitoring solution
• Design and implement AML detection logic using contextual data and analytics
• Develop and configure scoring models in the monitoring platform
• Optimize transaction monitoring use cases for Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing detection
• Calibrate scoring models and define detection thresholds
• Ensure score explainability and AML model governance compliance
• Support large-scale regulatory initiatives (data integrations, scenario development, testing, activation) across multiple countries
• Translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions with stakeholders
• Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical leadership

Requirements

• Deep understanding of AML and Transaction Monitoring concepts
• Proven experience designing and implementing detection logic and scoring models
• Strong experience in data analysis
• Practical experience in financial crime projects
• Hands-on experience with Agile ways of working
• Ability to optimize scoring models, calibrate thresholds, and support model governance
• Experience working with contextual data and analytics in high-volume transaction environments
• Very good command of English (spoken and written)
