Description

You will design, deploy, operate, and scale a massive always-on distributed system that is core to AWS. The role focuses on platform diagnosis, response, measurement, and automation to enable operational scalability. You will work in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment with the opportunity to engineer systems at large scale.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate always-on distributed infrastructure at massive scale

• Perform platform diagnosis and response

• Measure platform behavior and drive improvements

• Automate operations and engineering workflows to support scalability

Requirements

• Maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance, and ability to obtain and maintain it

• After start, obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each agency for which AWS work is performed

• Current active US Government Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

• 1+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience

• 1+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows)

• High school or equivalent, or certification such as A+, CND, Network+, or Security+
