Description

As a Software Engineer II in AI Infrastructure, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and operate large-scale distributed systems and platform services for mission-critical cloud experiences. You will build infrastructure capabilities for resource management and workload orchestration, develop C# control plane services on Kubernetes (AKS), and handle operational support and on-call responsibilities. You will analyze complex production issues, identify root causes, and implement durable improvements to scalability, maintainability, efficiency, and service health.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate large-scale distributed systems for reliability, scalability, security, and high performance
• Build and enhance infrastructure capabilities for resource management and workload orchestration to optimize efficiency, utilization, availability, and performance
• Develop features for capacity management, service scalability, policy-driven decision making, workload placement, prioritization, and operational flexibility
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to define technical requirements and influence architecture
• Develop, test, and maintain control plane services in C# hosted on Kubernetes (AKS)
• Analyze complex production issues, identify root causes, implement sustainable solutions, and provide operational support / DRI on-call
• Contribute to engineering best practices through design reviews, code quality, knowledge sharing, and mentorship

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience
• Coding experience in one or more of: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python
• OOP proficiency and practical familiarity with common code design patterns
• 2+ years of service development in a distributed environment (dev-ops role), including concurrency management and stateful resource management
• Hands-on experience with public cloud services at the IaaS level
