Description

You will develop robust backend applications in Kotlin (using Ktor/http4k) and build modern, fast frontend applications in React. The work includes designing database solutions, optimized SQL queries, and APIs that connect backend and frontend from design through deployment. You will also contribute to Kotlin Multiplatform projects, collaborate on architecture using MVVM, manage state, and deploy cloud-based applications with Docker.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications in Kotlin using Ktor and http4k
• Build modern, fast frontend applications in React
• Design database solutions and write optimized SQL queries
• Design APIs and integrate backend with frontend (end-to-end from design to deployment)
• Work on Kotlin Multiplatform projects
• Collaborate on architecture and use design patterns such as MVVM
• Manage state on both frontend and backend; contribute to end-to-end performance optimization
• Deploy and operate applications in the cloud using Docker

Requirements

• Experience developing in Kotlin or Java
• Knowledge of Ktor and http4k
• Practical experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Docker
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS Lambda, ECS tasks, EC2, logging, Azure Functions)
• Familiarity with architectural approaches (MVVM) and state management
