Description

Support the Reporting Lead and BI team in a SAP implementation project across four European markets. You will analyze the current reporting landscape, standardize and simplify reports, and capture and document reporting requirements through workshops, including KPI design. You will also help define how reporting is split between SAP and BI solutions (Data Lake/Power BI) and support BAU BI tasks, especially in Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the existing reporting environment and identify opportunities to standardize and simplify reports

• Lead and participate in workshops with business users

• Collect, analyze, and document reporting requirements

• Prepare requirements for the SAP vendor

• Collaborate on defining the split between SAP reporting and BI solutions such as Data Lake and Power BI

• Support building the reporting catalog and the requirements backlog

• Analyze data sources and needs related to access to historical data

• Collaborate with Business Intelligence, HR, Finance, and the implementation partner

• Support designing reporting and defining KPIs aligned with business needs

• Support BAU BI activities, including Power BI, during lower project engagement periods

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI, reporting, or business analysis

• Practical experience in implementing SAP projects, especially reporting

• Strong understanding of SAP reporting capabilities and the SAP data model, especially in HR and Finance modules

• Ability to analyze, organize, and document business requirements

• Experience facilitating workshops with business users

• Knowledge of reporting design principles and reporting/KPI standardization rules

• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data modeling

• Power BI knowledge is an asset

• Ability to collaborate with the business, BI teams, and the SAP implementation provider

• Very good English

• Independent, communicative, and well organized

• Understand which SAP data is available and when reporting should remain in SAP vs. when to use Data Lake or Power BI
